My first photo on my first camera was a portrait of a friend.

My portraiture tells the story of how I have made a connection with who I am photographing.

People I’ve taken photos for will laugh at the lengths I’m willing to go to get a great shot of them. Whether it’s lying on my back in the mud while wearing dress clothes or wading into freezing water for a better angle, I always go the extra mile for my photos. This has always been true of me, even before I got into photography. My friends often tell stories of me going to absurd lengths to grow our friendships. Sliding down steep hills and walking through water in my best shoes just to have fun is something you can expect from me once you really get to know me. In every portrait I take, there’s a part of me filled with a childish sense of love and wonder for the moment!
